Dr. Makenzie Costner - Veterinarian

Dr. Makenzie Costner is a valued Veterinarian at Best Friends Animal Hospital.

Dr. Makenzie Costner is from Dublin, Ohio, and moved to the Statesboro area in 2023! She received her undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University while also playing for their women's soccer team. She earned her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests are dentistry, ultrasound, and dermatology.

Outside of work, Dr. Costner likes spending time with her husband, Cody, family, friends, her two kitties, Lyla and Bronny, and her two dogs, Maverick and Reggie. She also enjoys being outside and traveling. She is very excited to be a part of the amazing Best Friends team!
